Around the end of the year 2014 I were in a tight spot. My girlfriend had been laid off because of the company downsizing that was prevalent around that time, and my online income wasn’t even remotely close to what it is today. To make matters worse, the depressed housing market had hit my day job – installing hardwood floors – pretty hard. Because no one was purchasing houses, people were hesitant to dump any money into their own, not knowing if they’d be able to ever recoup the loss. Needless to say, it was a rough patch. We had to cover our mortgage, student loans, car payments, insurance, utilities, and groceries, not to mention all the other normal expenses we all have. We were lucky enough to have a good amount saved up which we used to float us for a while. Related:

2.Swot Analysis.

swot Conducting a SWOT analysis of my business is a lot more fun than it sounds. It won’t take much time, and doing it forces me to think about my business in a whole new way. The point of a SWOT analysis is to help me develop a strong business strategy by making sure I’ve considered all of my business’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as the opportunities and threats it faces in the marketplace. As I might have guessed from that last sentence, S.W.O.T. is an acronym that stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. A SWOT analysis is an organized list of my business’s greatest weaknesses, strengths, opportunities, and threats. Strengths and weaknesses are internal to the company (think: reputation, patents, location). Yeah, Opportunities and threats are external (think: suppliers, competitors, prices). Yeah, they are out there in the market, happening whether I like it or not. I can’t change them. New businesses might use a SWOT analysis as a part of their planning process. There is no one size fits all plan for your business, and thinking about your new business in terms of its unique SWOTs will put you on the right track right away, and save you from a lot of headaches later on. Existing businesses might use a SWOT analysis, at any time, to assess a changing environment and respond proactively. In fact, I recommend conducting a strategy review meeting at least once a year that begins with a SWOT analysis.

3.What We Earned in That Weekend

work After a long time of preparation, I started on Saturday and made most of our money that day as well – just a little over $600 from all my bubble tea shops . The following day, being a little slower, earned us about half as much. Overall, it was a very successful bubble tea sale. The bubble tea sale went off without a hitch and we earned a total of $1000! Since that first, many bubble tea sales have followed, though none so memorable as that first. Perhaps that’s a result of our great need at the time and the initial amazement we experienced at how easy it was to make nearly $1,000 in just a couple days. The sales weren’t just profitable, but also fun. I had the chance to meet and talk with a number of interesting people as their spouses browsed my wares.
